Ted Driscoll of Shrine '69 asked me to come up with a new identity for the band. He was after something that would be unexpected by their fans, so we decided to go 'stripped down', slick and back-to-basics.
The main devices to avoid were anything too curvy or meandering. 'Bloaty and floaty' were out, too. The new logo and logotype are thin and clean; equally as influenced by ancient norse runes, as they are by classic science fiction and minimal geometry.
