The end of year exhibition in year two of my degree was given the title, Slap Dash. This was a tongue-in-cheek tip of the hat to our tendencies as students to over-plan and over-think on occasion. I was appointed to the team responsible for designing the exhibition space.
Our gallery walls were very plain and the space felt too sterile. We decided to dress-down, using corrugated cardboard to cover the gallery surfaces. I designed two main features of the exhibition; a means to display our business cards and the signage inside the space.
Thanks to Denis Avdic for his photography shown here.
